Emergency Call Service 112 Launched in Ogan Komering Ilir, Powered by Jasnita

OKI, October 12, 2024 – The Government of Ogan Komering Ilir (OKI) has officially launched the emergency call service 112, designed to address urgent situations such as fires, floods, and issues related to women and children.

In its initial phase, the OKI Siaga 112 service will cover responses to fires managed by the Civil Service Police Unit (Sat Pol PP) and the Fire Department (Damkar). Additionally, services from the Health Office, Environmental Office (for waste management), Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), Transportation Office, and traffic order will also be available.

This service will also include the Social Office, emergency services related to drugs from the National Narcotics Agency (BNN), as well as protection services for women and children managed by the Office of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection (PPPA) OKI.

With the introduction of emergency call service 112, it is hoped that the community can quickly access assistance in situations requiring immediate attention, thus enhancing overall safety and welfare. By integrating various services into one platform, residents no longer need to memorize multiple emergency service numbers; they can simply dial 112.

The OKI Siaga 112 service is a positive step for the Government of Ogan Komering Ilir in addressing the needs of the community during emergencies. Jasnita is committed to continuing its participation in Indonesia’s Smart City initiatives.
