Sumedang, April 4, 2024 - PT Jasnita Telekomindo Tbk. (JAST), together with the Sumedang Regency Government (Pemkab Sumedang), introduces the 112 Emergency Call service as a joint initiative to enhance emergency response and swift rescue efforts in Sumedang Regency. Under this collaboration, the Sumedang Regency will reactivate the 112 Emergency Call service, which will be operated by JAST, bringing innovation in integrating comprehensive communication services through a single portal in the region.

 

The 112 Emergency Call service is a strategic step in providing better accessibility to the people of Sumedang facing emergency conditions such as fires, accidents, natural disasters, health issues, security disturbances, and other emergencies. The collaboration between the Sumedang Regency and JAST ensures that the service will be run efficiently and effectively, providing timely assistance to those in need. Furthermore, the support from the Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kominfo) in promoting the use of the 112 Emergency Call service as a national standard for rapid response to emergencies signifies the government's commitment to improving the quality of public services and ensuring the safety of the community. This aligns with the government's efforts to strengthen information and communication technology infrastructure and maximize its utilization for collective welfare and security.
